Flat Iron Case!!!

I use my flat iron everyday and even more-so when I'm on vacation.  When travelling, after I'm finished using my flat iron... I usually wrap it in a t-shirt to make sure I don't burn anything in my suitcase because it stays HOT for a long time after it's unplugged OR I pack everything and wait for it to cool before I pack it. ANNOYING!!

I while back I came across a flat iron case by Your Creative Juices.  I thought it was a GENIUS idea!

Step 1: Get yourself a 8''x10'' pot holder with a pocket*. Step 2: Fold it in half and sew along bottom and the side (or be lazy like me and use hot-glue haha). Step 3:  Take out some buttons and decorate them with embroidery thread. Step 4: Cut some leaves out of felt and decorate them with embroidery thread and more felt. Step 5: Hot glue your leaves and buttons onto your case to make cute little flowers.
*The pot holder pocket is useful to insert the flat iron cord.

Pretty cute right?  And super USEFUL!!!
How do you travel your flat iron?

Have a FABULOUS day!!

P.S. I'm linking at these Parties.

Awesome idea! I hate waiting to pack my stuff because the flat iron is still hot. This is brilliant!

I do the same thing wait and wait for my iron to cool or wrap it up since it's not "cool" enough. LOL This is such a great idea. Thanks for sharing!

Love this Christine! You are so right about it being annoying to have to wait for it to cool, and gasp what if you accidentally leave it behind because you didn't pack it right away! Great job, thanks for sharing:)

This is such a great idea! The case that came with my flat iron isn't very practical. Your idea seems like a perfect solution to the case problem! Thanks for sharing on Marvelous Mondays.
